Beast of a belt
Total beast of a belt. Will never break. Last forever and will hold loads that my bones will never tolerate. Can be slightly pinchy during heavy belt squats on the anterior hip due to the size however this belt is built for the largest of the large strong men so I just have to get on with it. No pain no gain! Amazing for people who need to squat and don't want to compromise the integratory of the disc joints. Actually rather surprised how effective, how heavy you can go without any loading on my L5. Great variation. Worth the cash.

Rcvd defective /damaged product
Package arrived on time and was well-packed. Back padding of belt is thick n looks comf to use, stitching appears secure and belt length was shorter than gym provided SPUD belt but was actually a better length for me. Glad I ordered a L. (Female 185# with 30” waist for reference ).

Great belt squat
Works great. Built just right. Only problem is very tricky to execute the move without a specialty rack. Using now with a landline, enables heavy squat loading with lower back risk. Just what you want. Little bit of a compromise on depth, sort of a cheat squat but still can use effectively. If you have a way to lower the weights into a hole in the deck would work perfectly. Barbell club style gyms probably have. We just can’t install. Still we use it with landline frequently.

Great belt
This belt is amazing. I use it for sled pulls. Super high quality and it's as functional as it is comfortable.

Great quality, a little long for small waisted lifters
Very high build quality as you would expect from Spud. The wider, back portion is very thick and supportive and the material is flexible enough to conform comfortably to your body while still being supportive. I have zero concerns about material or stitching failure regardless of how much weight I'm using. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the ends of the wide band of nylon, which typically end on the tops/insides of my thighs, can be abrasive. The material seems to be heated/melted to prevent unraveling, and it can dig in or scratch a little if you don't take the time to get it situated comfortably. This isn't a major issue but worth mentioning. It may not even make contact with your legs depending on your build, leg positioning, or choice of pants/shorts. Lastly, keep the length of this belt in mind. I am about 6'/31" inseam and use this belt on a Tbar/landmine bar setup since I don't have a dedicated belt squat machine at my gym. I can't imagine anyone having an issue of this belt being too short - if I do not elevate myself on a lifting platform, or use smaller diameter plates, the plates bottom out onto the floor before I reach full depth in my squats. For a lifter with a larger waist, that would use up some of the belt length and probably eliminate this. I have just made a few changes to my lift setup and it works great now, but if the belt was slightly shorter it would allow me to reach full depth without having to take any additional steps. Overall very happy with the quality and wouldn't hesitate to continue to buy Spud products.

Very comfortable, and well made. Used as a squat belt, for weighted dips and pull-ups.

The construction is so heavy duty, you can lift an Elephant with it. I chose size large, not knowing if its best size choice as i do not want it loose around the hips. My waist is 39 inches, Hips are 44 inches. This one fit me perfectly and hangs correctly around the hips. I would say use size M only if you are less than 170 pounds. People with waist size of 42 and above should probably use size X-large. All components are heavy duty, should last 50 years.

Have been using the belt for heavy T-bar squatting and it definitely isolates my thighs better than barbell squat
