ProtoJ4749XLQR 1/4" Drive Premium Quick-Release Pear Head Ratchet,6-11/16"

Wishing mine would have arrived in at least a manufacturers package,..all I go was the tool in a bubble envelope, hah. Nevertheless I am THRILLED with the action of this ratchet, it is very precise with crisp and tiny adjustments. This is the real deal. I have used snap on, I have used craftsman from the USA eras and many other ratchets to boot: this is my favorite and I will be completing my set.

I used the 1/4" ratchet twice - light-duty work, and it has stopped ratcheting. Worthless !! Might as well spend less on a chineese piece of junk and lose less money.

Although I think Proto tools in general are amazing, I have had to return quite a few for issues that were unacceptable in a top tier brand. However, this particular ratchet was exceptional as it should be. Smooth action, little back drag, flawless finish, and locking mechanism works as it should.

A good product that provides professional quality and durability at a reasonable price.

Great quality tool. Standing up well after almost a year. You can't go wrong with Stanley.

Very compact and small design and the gear ratio is good enough for tight places and high torque

je suis mécanicien de hors-bord, motoneiges, vtt etc.….je travaille souvent en espace restreint. ce petit ratchet est de grande qualité, tendre et vraiment fait petit , il est parfait pour moi, Et je ne passerait plus du bouton dégagement rapide de la douille.
