Great book - daughter can't seem to be able to put it down! Great tips on creative writing - best for late primary and early secondary ages

I am a primary school teacher and it is an excellent tool

I'd never come across this before, to my shame as a dyslexia specialist, but the parent of a tutee strongly recommended this as a wonderful way of promoting creative writing independence. The index takes a little getting used to/tutoring, but it's certainly helped some of my students; and has also been taken up by two of my local schools, and some more parents individually. Wonderfully atmospheric synonyms, much better than many thesauruses (thesauri?).

Bought this book as a recommendation for my son. It has really helped improve the quality of this creative writing pieces. Wish I had known about it earlier. Great buy.

The absolute all time best book for creative writing. I have recommended this to at least a hundred teachers and parents, each of which reported completely different writing produced as a result. Absolutely brilliant.

Wonderful book, really comprehensive tool for writing creatively and easy to use. Both my 6 and 9 year old have found their way around this, and have written some fine work taking snippets from various places to produce some excellent poems and comprehension pieces. Love it.
