Dorman 904-558 HD Diesel Fuel Filter Housing Compatible with Select Chevrolet/GMC Models

Worked great for a 2002 GMC SIERRA 4X4 2500HD CA LB7 Duramax with an EGR. After rebuilding the OEM one and it leaking again then buying cheap off brand and it leaked immediately And being I always had great results with DORMAN for years! (my go to IF I can't go OEM even if made in China now🙄). When it arrived it felt and looked of quality very very much like my OEM GM one did I mean right down to the plunger screws!. It even felt like the weight was the same too not to mention The Notorious! Fuel line angles that are commonly wrong on other brands was good not perfect but damm good! And Worked perfectly without any leaks! And I even saved $$ by buying an open box one too!. If you go my route be sure to inspect that its an actual Dorman 904-558 it will say it in plain sight on the top of the metal primer bulb just in case Because Amazon "open box" does mess up sometimes.

Installed 4 days ago works as it should the primer pump is the main cause of the fuel system leaking air Dorman does have a repair kit which lasts about 4-6 months. I went this route with the complete part had the old one out and the new one installed in under 30 minutes Chevrolet wanted 680 dollars for that part

I had to take it off and put it back on wasting my time and energy due to your cheap ass seals and gaskets it leaked 2 seconds after I started it repumped it up it started then 2 days later it leaked again right at the seal where you prime it up at its not worth the money I saved buying at store where if it went bad I'd be able to just go back and and get a new one next time I'll take it to a shop so it'll be out of your pocket and not mine you should be forced to pay for the labor on defective parts where the installation isn't the problem

Perfect form fit and function, fixed fuel leak and loss of prime for 2000 Duramax.

It went bad in two years and I had to replace it. Turned out that the bleed screw O-ring deteriorated, causing air leakage.

Make sure when buying this part get this aftermarket all metal part. We first tried to save a few dollars and bought the plastic one that was a little cheaper. We still had the same problem (fuel leaking) after purchasing the other one. But this Dorman metal piece, worked perfect!! Just like what came out factory!1

Bad quality Chinese parts always leak air into the fuel system. Never buying again. If anything delete this part and go with a fass system. I bought 3 and they all were junk and leaked air into the system of my truck…

Leak a lot brand new, like a LOT! im very pissed its double the prices of the other one on amazon i choose this one because it was not a chinese brand waste of time my truck is stuck in the middle of the wood. Dont buy this product

This is a good product at a good price! Fits perfectly and works no issues.

Primer on housing would not seal leaked right out of the box. I would have returned product but was able to put primer off my old housing and repair. Would not recommend!
