Winsor & NewtonCotman Watercolor, 21ml, Light Red

I have some cheaper gouache paint set lying around and I thought I should break into them. I am okay with the color ones but I can never get the same effect as I have seen other artists layer white or lighter color on darker paint. So I decided to experiment and bought this single tube of white gouache from Winsor. Immediately I could see the difference in the paint quality. It is much glumpy and doesn't dry out on the palette as quickly. And it is so much easier to layer the paint onto other colors and completely mask the underneath layer. After my experiment, I have decided that Winsor is the way to go.
