🧩 Elevate your Carcassonne game with a monastery scoring revolution!
The Hans Im Gluck Carcassonne: Monasteries of Germany Mini-Expansion adds six authentic German monastery tiles with a fresh scoring mechanic that rewards strategic placement and risk-taking. Designed for 2-6 players and lasting about 50 minutes, this expansion requires the base Carcassonne game and enhances gameplay with new tactical depth and endgame suspense.

These come with some unique rules that's worth snagging them for
For anyone curious what these are, they are just the typical monasteries with a new look to them. They came with a unique ruleset too though where players can either follow normal monastery rules or score based on how many adjacent tiles vertically or horizontally are connected to it. This means a single monastery can score you an absurd amount of points making them very desirable. You cannot ever remove your piece though until the game is over, so you are forced to go for the max possible points when you commit for that. I find this goes great with the Dragon & the Princess expansion for that reason as well Flying Machines.
