Very easy to install. It has different timer options and very loud alarm can hear it from across the house if door is left open. Life saver if you have kids!

We used this item for a fridge, using the following configuration setting (and using the lowest volume): Mode C - Alert after 30 seconds, a reminder every 20s, auto stop after 60min or door closed (Exit, Freezer door...). It works as intended. However, we note that because there is no physical contact involved in the sensor switch, this leaves the possibility that the door could be left very slightly open and the alarm will not be activated as expected.

So far, so good. I didn't have patience to work out all the modes, but does what I need it to do. Alert me when the fridge is left open. I opted for 10s setting for now.

I bought this alarm to warn me when I leave the fridge door open. Although the alarm function does seem to work, I'm unable to find anywhere to position it because the two components need to be less than a centimetre apart and the fridge door seal prevents this. If there's a simple solution I'll update.

Easy to fit, works great, good to be able to adjust delays timing and loudness. Fitted to front door for my elderly mother as a reminder that door is open.

My kids have a terrible habit of leaving the front door open, and I find I’m constantly having to close it. I don’t always catch it right away, so the cat has gotten out a few times. I decided to get this alarm in the hopes that it would promptly notify us if the door is left open. I’m so glad I did it because it works amazingly well! It was very easy to install: I washed and dried the door and frame before applying the double-sided mounting stickers to components, and then the door. I appreciate that there was an extra set of mounting stickers in the box, which would allow me to move the alarm to another location if necessary, or reapply one if it came off. The adhesive is quite strong and I can’t see it coming off unless it were very forcefully dislodged. I have it set to make a chime sound on the lowest volume after 60 seconds. Without fail, it chimes after 60 seconds, and again every 30 seconds until the door is closed. The lower volume is perfect— just loud enough to be audible from the common areas of the house. The higher volume is too loud for everyday use and is better suited for a security alarm. It would have been nice if there were a selection of chime sounds to choose from, but the one it comes with is fine. An unexpected bonus is that the cat doesn’t like the chime sound, and will run away from the door when it goes off! When we go on vacation, I plan to change it to the loud alarm sound, and to go off immediately when the door is opened. I can see many possible uses for this alarm in various locations around the house. For example, I recommended it to a family member whose spouse has dementia, as it would help prevent him from wandering out the front door. To sum up, this alarm is easy to install and works exactly as described. In the spring, I plan on buying another one of these for the patio door because the kids are even worse with leaving that one open! Overall, I’m really happy with this alarm, and feel very comfortable with recommending it. I hope this was helpful.! 😊

I have my freezer in a closet and I am constantly forgetting to close the lid. This has saved me hundreds of dollars in food already. It has great options if you like to dig through the freezer you can set the timer longer so you dont have it going off all the time and you can even change the sound. Was very easy to install following the instructions.
