Got this for my son. Was appalled at the price but it was worth it. Super cute, works smoothly, easily read, obviously a quality item and best of all, the tape can be replaced in case he accidentally washes it in his jeans as he did the one before this 😁. Almost weightless so he enjoys carrying it.

Although this thing is expensive, it's a quality piece made in America! Great fit and finish. Beautiful laser and anodizing work!

Update: after a few month of use, I nearly lost this tape measure. The screw started to get loose, and the key chain holder slipped out, and the tape measure fell. Will need to use a dab of lock-Tite.Taking one star from the 5 I gave it originally.As far as the use of it, I have no complaints. It is very sturdy and reliable.Sometimes one needs to measure something, so it is nice to have this with you. It is light enough to go on a key ring. But I wish it could be a bit lighter, still. May be even smaller. The tape could be thinner. Then it could not be marked with numbers. But each full inch could get a different marker. It is short enough that one could count inches manually. But there is really no alternative, that I know of, that is lighter. There must be a reason.

I am construction manager. I don’t like to wear bulky tape on my belt and it always stays in a truck when I need it. This tiny thing is always with my car keys - meaning always with me. And it is not a cheap thing made of Chinesium, rather solid metal. I wish they offer engraving logo too.

I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE this EDC tape measure. I often need a tape measure to measure baluster spacing on railings for insurance risk assessments and hate carrying a large tape measure on my dress belt. This is so small and fits in my pockets great. My dad loved it so much i am going to get him one for Xmas this year as well. I went ahead and ordered two extra inserts because I know myself and I WILL eventually bend the tape.

This thing is worse than the least expensive dollar store tape measures, except that it has a weak titanium shell with a very bad way of attaching a keyring. The tape is so thin and hard to read with tiny markings and the end clip isn't even at a right angle so it slips off anything you try to hook it to rending the darn thing basically useless. Returned.

After too many times when I needed a quick measurement but had nothing on hand with which to measure something, this has become an EDC (every day carry) for me—it lives in my pocket now and I am never without a means to measure (I work as a manufacturing engineer).

TLDR, YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.Tape measure won't actually extend to 3 ft without stressing the spring (which seems weak to begin with). Retraction is weak and the action in either direction feels gritty and sloppy. Can't see this being a long term usable tool without some re-engineering. Small, and convenient for EDC are the highlights.
