This kit worked perfectly for replacing the timing chain on our Audi A4.

Get this if you're doing an Audi timing chain job. The only thing missing is the long tension reliever pry bar. But that can't be folded up inside a box like this. You'll have to buy it separately. But this includes everything else you'll need.

If you're not going to be doing VW/Audi timing chains for a living then don't waste the money on an expensive set, these will work just fine. Some people complain that the pins slip off and might bend or shear when braking the crank bolt loose or torquing it, however if you're careful and keep it pushed flat against the flange you won't have a problem (I did it by myself but an extra set of hands would be helpful). The only thing I would like to see different in the kit is a longer handle in order for it to reach the A-arm to aid in breaking torque...I ended up sliding a piece of 2" square steel tubing over it to make it a little longer for added leverage.
