Once you've splashed out on the batteries and chargers, all the rest of the Makita stuff seems very reasonable in price. The quality of this drill is obviously very high. This item was definitely a no-frills purchase. Just came in a brown Amazon box - no Makita box. Doesn't matter. It arrived in perfect condition and saved me throwing out more cardboard.

Love the Makita tools. Really like this as it is nice and light compared to the other drill that we had. Many of our tools were stolen, so we have gone with all Makita now as we like how the battery is interchangeable and has been a great reliable product for us.
