I've been using this belt since May and it really works. It's powerful (I mainly use the "training" mode at full pelt of 120, but worked up to that), the batteries last ages, and basically I can't sing its praises enough. Way better than ones I've had in the past, works well with my workout routines and has definitely helped tighten and firm. Had an injury at one point and used this for about 3 weeks without physically working, so was worried about not working out - but that's why I genuinely feel it gets results as, if I'm honest, my torso looked better for concentrating on the belt rather than putting the onus on slogging my guts out!!! Aaaaargh! Consequently I have recently started to use it on my sides for 15 minutes each (on "training" mode starting at 30 and now up to 60 power) and it's definitely firmed and toned there too, as it covers the rear waist fat and helps with the bra fat area if you position it more towards the back than the abdominals. I also put a very tight strap (from another EMS) around it once I've strapped it on and found that additional tightness has helped get results. This belt is brilliant!! I'm in my mid 50's and have been training hard for 32 years but am at the age where a little help isn't going to go amiss, and this is that extra help. I LOVE IT! Just wish they could come up with a gadget to tighten old lady loose skin on the back of the arms and I'll never bother physically working out again, hahaha!

Offers a reasonable amount of toning but once you have done a few abs exercises you will find the maximum intensity is not really high enough to improve your abs anymore. Certainly won't give you a six pack on its own. Positive is the lack of gel, just use water which keeps the cost of ownership down as does the spare set of pads (neoprene circles?).

I remember these machines 30+yrs ago when I had a cheeky go on my mums. I have to say, this era's is so much better!! This one stands out for me as you don't need to buy extra pads, just have to lubricate the built in pads, I recieved two bottles of lube which I think will last fir quite some time.. Great expectations so far as I'm aching after three uses.. no pain, no gain. If I wasn't hurting, I'd be suspicious!! I'll come bk with more feed back after a month of usage! It's hard to have an opinion one way or the other after 3 uses over two days!

Great product,comfortable to wear and easy to use,I started on 30 out of the 40 power settings and use this every morning,the programs on it lasts for 20 minutes but if you want you can repeat it,takes two AA battery's which you get with it,I have had it now for a couple of weeks and as I am disabled with serious back trouble I cannot excercise I started to put on a bit of weight round my tummy so I am hopping this will help and after two weeks it seems to be helping,the belt has a long velcro strip on its strap so it should fit even the smallest or largest frame within reason,i am a 38 to 40 inch weighst,i recommend highly
