Good quality and has everything needed to get right into it.

I sketch to relax and bought this set 2 years ago. Love it because it opens up and all my supplies are in front of me, including an easel. I like being able to quickly glance between the page and the available colors as I work. I do not have to step around, bend around, turn around, or need a table to set out any of my supplies. I do not need additional space to accommodate my easel. I discovered it is heavy enough to be stable while sitting in my bed and the easel presents at the perfect height. I fired up a Regency romance on Audible and sketched away for a few hours. It was such a great afternoon, I wanted to leave a review to share my experience with this set. I use it the most of my options.If you are considering purchasing something in one of these wooden box/sketch box styles, pay attention to the design and function of the case and easel. Consider if it will be used indoor, outdoor or both. Art supplies can be upgraded. Wood can be painted and repaired. It arrived in perfect condition and I upgraded the pencils. The quality of the supplies is fine for starting out. If you are looking for a starter or all in one kit, this has everything you need but the paper and canvas. You will get a lot of mileage out of this kit as you learn the style and supplies you prefer. I highly recommend.

Whether you are a kid or an aspiring artist, this set is wonderful. It contains an array of supplies from paint and pencils to pads of paper. I am interested in becoming an artist. This requires lots of practice. I don't want to be using top-of-the-line materials or supplies for my practice sessions. I want to save my best materials for finished projects. This set allows me to do this and explore other things, (like acrylics and pastels, that I've never tried before) without the deep investment. Also, this set comes in a very nice, well-made box with built in easel. Once these supplies have been used up, I can convert this box to an outdoor (plein aire) travel kit as it comes with a very nice attached handle. My only complaint is that the box isn't sealed with a varnish or formica veneer. Other than this, I can highly recommend this art set for anyone interested in art. 👌 😃

Bought these for a gift for my nephew he’s pretty good artist. He really liked it had a big smile on his face when he opened the package so hopefully it last a long time form or at least for at least till his next birthday the woods, a little case, you know it kinda you can tell it’s cheaply made, but I like the design. I might decide to make one myself out really good wood and take my time and make a better case for him Than that good job
