Great Eazy to use Timer
This is a terrific timer. The pros are Excellent display... you can read the time across the room at a wide viewing angle, Can count up/down to 99Hrs, 99Min, 99Sec., Has keypad to easily set the time, none of this +/- to count up & down, Has a alarm silence switch so the alarm doesn't sound at 00:00 but does have a flashing red LED that flashes at 00:00 even if silenced, uses 2 AAA batteries, included, that last a long time and are inexpensive compared to button watch batteries. Con is the alarm is pretty loud.... so remove 3 small screws and add a 300 ohm resistor in series with the beeper and it's a perfect volume! Not everyone can do this, but I found it a really simple solution. BobM

Timers
I love this. These are the best timers I have ever owned. They are loud. You can hear them outside. You can set them for 99 hours 99 minutes and 99 seconds, which is great. They are also very easy to set, unlike most of them they go up to that many hours. You don't have to take an alarm clock. When you go on trips, you just take your time or use that to wake you up. The display size is really nice. The brightness is great. They function so well. I don't use the magnet feature so I can't speak for that. But they are great timers. I have bought 5 of them.

Digital Timer
These timers are wonderful. I have tried so many brands but this works great for me. Not too big nor small. Easy to use. Counts up and down. Has a nice loud ringer which I appreciate.. Holds the time which works out great when baking cookies etc. Bought 2 sets

Nice and easy kitchen timers
My father bought one of these kitchen timers over the summer and it works really well. I decided to get a 2 pack after not having enough timers on Thanksgiving. These new ones work just as well as the previous one. However they are quieter than the previous timer. Otherwise they're just as easy to set time on and stop when the times up.

Finally, a good, simple timer?
Why is it so hard to find a good timer? I have tried several, and they keep falling short. Some have too many features, making them complicated to use. Some have strange ways of inputting the time, and most have anemic beepers and weak magnets. Many won't time over an hour. I just got a 2-pack of his one for $17 with coupon. It has super simple number buttons to just type in the time. It beeps loud enough to hear a few rooms away, without screeching at you when nearby. Easy enough to use except in direct sunlight.... not really an issue. This one also had marginal magnets. I may try trimming the plastic lip from around them so they contact the surface instead of being held off a bit. But it has a stand so you can place it upright on a table, and a hanger clip if you want to hang it on a nail. You can set it for 99 hours, way more than enough. If this thing holds up in the long run, and the beeper doesn't fade when the battery gets low, it is a winner! I'll update if it disappoints me.

Practical and easy to use for many purposes
My physical therapist uses these timers when working with me. I found that when I did her prescribed exercises at home, it was very cumbersome to use my phone to time the exercises that required that. So, I found these on Amazon. They are a great value, as two come in a package for a reasonable price. The way they function is very straightforward and effective, especially since they allow direct input of the time (rather than having to keep pressing a button until you get to the time you want), making home exercises easier and smoother for me. Because I really like the way they operate, I now use one of them in the kitchen instead of the timer on the oven. I also use them for other purposes requiring timing or counting down. They’re very useful.

Has flaws, there are better
When kitchen digital timers came out in the 1980s, all were of the type where you have to scroll up to get the time you wanted. But, I found that Radio Shack had a small timer with direct entry. It was for shop or darkroom use. I don't understand why almost all kitchen timers have you scroll to get the time. Are buttons that expensive? I have only owned direct entry ones. Let's look at those. Most have some negatives: - All have magnets on the back. But on many, this is only for storage, with one magnet in the middle. You can't enter the numbers with it stuck to your range hood. With this one you can enter with it stuck to the hood. - On some, the screen goes blank when not in use. This is a flaw in this model. I have two timers stuck to my hood, with the two times I use at that location. I want the time to be displayed all the time, so I know which is which. The timers I have there are the Polder timers . - One would think that with the timer flat on a surface you can enter. Not this one. It rocks when entering. - The third timer I have by my microwave to time tea. That is the CDN Direct Entry . It has an easel back. It shows the time all the time. Recommended for easel use, but only one centered magnet. A note: All these timers are sensitive to shock. You can't drop them. If you remove from the hood, when putting back you shouldn't let it snap, but attach gently.

Great value!
Nice little timers. Great value. Easy to read. Strong magnets. They could use a back light, that'd be my only complaint, but I purchased them knowing there was no back light.

This is a great timer. You just put the time in instead of having to press the button for every min. or hour. nice loud sound so you can here it in another room and not have to pack it around with you. Good price.

Loud beep, useful silent option with just the flashing light indicator, numbers for quick set, count-up and count-down, hours:minutes:seconds, handy stand, magnets, and hole for hanging. All good. Unfortunately Amazon sent me only one of the two timers that I ordered, but they fixed it with a credit.

I quite like these. The keyboard is a much easier way to set the timer and it's very simple to use, with a clear display. I would have given it 5 stars but it's much louder than necessary and that's a bit annoying. It's not one you ignore when it goes off!

Value for money.

Keep getting single packs, NOT 2-packs. Need to contact seller to get second unit. Otherwise, we are very happy with the units themselves.
