Artistic Wire, 18 Gauge / 1.0 mm Silver Plated Tarnish Resistant Colored Copper Craft Wire, Gold Color, 20 ft / 6.1 m

Wire was used to hold very small stranded led lights against a black backer. Two fine holes were made and wire passed through and twist tied. The wire was excellent quality for tight wire twist (approx. 10 wire twists) without breaking.

The shade is perfect and the strength is exactly what was needed for my project.

Works great. Solders and takes patina with no problem.

Using for wire trees. This wire is harder then other dead soft brands I have purchased. Was not able to bend with my hands as I needed to do.

The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful wire to make a multitude of jewelry designs. 20g is my go-to size for earrings. I love the silver colour as it resembles sterling silver. The wire makes lovely curves and crisp angles. It is ideal to make spirals as in this video showing the making of Triskele Earrings. Two wires can be twisted together for rings. I have also made beautiful Trees of Life with this wire. I love all the colours that the Artistic Wire comes in. It is so great to make fun jewelry and wire Art. Highly recommend.

This wire is great for what I was looking to use it for, which was making spider legs.

Might have to buff it a little, but it solders well. Makes good hangers for stained glass.

In the photo it says made in USA so I ordered it. All the reviews for this wire not made in USA say it chips and scratches the color off I definitely didn't want that but they sent me wire from another country as the photo shows I will return beware of this brand sending you the other wire that you may not have ordered
