Light, Compact, Easy to use and Accurate
For such a small device, this instrument is awesome. It fits in the breast pocket of my work jacket. We are building wind turbine foundations so, wind velocity, temperature and evaporation rate are all important. It’s easy to use and the information is literally at my fingertips and easy to read. I know of no other device other than Kestrel that can provide this accuracy and scope of measurements so compactly. A bit expensive, yes but, something of this sophistication can’t be produced cheaply. If you purchase one, take care of it. It’s worth it.

Great Tool!
This meter has just about everything you need for the HVAC/R business but agriculture operations and most construction projects.

Cost more than I wanted, but no reservations on accuracy, quality, and reliability
A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. After looking at all the available lower priced products, I had to aim higher and higher until I decided to get the Cadillac. This model has all the sensors I need, it comes with a proper and trusting datasheet showing all the measurement ranges and tolerances, no omissions. Smart phone connection too, which is a great plus for the better screen and controls. Plus the brand reliability. Very happy with my choice.

Nice improvements, great quality and lots of features!
Handy weather information, easy to use, comes with accuracy verification, and small enough to take everywhere. LOVE it. The bluetooth app also was easy to setup and use. Love being able to read the meter remotely! This is my second Kestrel weather meter. The batter door on the first broke (after 4 years and more than 150k miles of travel in my backpack). This one has a much better design, so I'm looking forward to many more miles and years together with this one.

Great battery life. I really like the Bluetooth connectivity, but the range is quite limited, as expected.

Designed and assembled in the USA!!!
It worked just as was described. I'm using it mostly for evaporation rate, wind speed and humidity on highway bridge projects. I especially love that it is designed and assembled in the USA!
