Excellent NVMe drive!
This is installed in a workhorse Raspberry Pi5 setup and it has been flawlessly reliable. It was an excellent price and we would not hesitate to purchase another one. The read and write speeds are more than adequate and we've never experienced any issues. Even after hours of usage the drive does not overheat. Perfect for our application.

Nice little drive for WWAN ports on old-ish laptops
Just picked one of the NE-2242 256GB drives for a Dell E7470 WWAN port, and it worked just fine for an unsupported dual boot install of Win11 (and a not long for this world Win10). The E7470 is a nice, well built laptop only held back from Win11 because of the 6th gen processor, so adding this drive and giving it an unsupported install may give it an extended life. It can be used as a boot drive on this machine in this configuration. It is no speed demon, but it's faster than the stock SATA drive the laptop comes with and is just fine for day to day office use. The B+M keying combined with NVMe on this drive is relatively rare. There are other wonky solutions with adapters, but for only a few extra bucks over those solutions, this is the way to go to use on those often open B-Keyed WWAN ports. Do a few minutes of research on your specific laptop to make sure this will work, however, as capabilities and formats of the "WWAN" port are not standardized. I use the BIOS to switch between booting off the two drives. Other than some Bitlocker issues that were easily addressed, it's been just fine. If you have an E7470 and are pursuing this path, don't forget that there is a firmware upgrade to TPM 2.0 that is available on the Dell site that you should run before installing Win11. Updates: After doing some research, it looks like this drive is based on a Silicon Motion 2263XT controller, which is fine older tech (circa 2017/18) in line with its capabilities. The SM site says it supports x4, but that may not be implemented here. It is a DRAM-less drive, which works for low speed/low end applications, but it will never compete with more modern or with high end drives. Also, the LED on the E7470 doesn't seem to respond to drive usage--no surprise given the WWAN port usage.

Good choice if you don’t need the fastest. #RaspberryPi5
I bought this for my raspberry pi 5 M.2 hat. It is not the fastest or newest but it is as fast as the raspberry pi can manage. I booted my Pi from it months ago and have continuous uptime since.

works and functions well, fast enough to run a virtual machines from it
I recently purchased the KingSpec 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and I’m extremely impressed. This drive runs fast, performs smoothly, and functions flawlessly. Data transfer speeds are outstanding, copying large files is quick and efficient. The connection and overall speed are so good that I can smoothly run my VirtualBox machine directly from it on macOS without any lag. Using and installing was super easy. On top of all that, the price is fantastic for the performance you get. If you’re looking for a reliable, speedy, and affordable SSD upgrade for your laptop or notebook, this is the one to buy. Highly recommended!

Great added tool
Simple install process it fit right on home now on window side at first it will check and add the total storege but you have to formated first so it can appear a quick web search and now it is up and running an Lenovo t470 on the wwan port for the money a decent upgrade now I have to keep testing for heat level but till now it's super fast. passing 20gb in second good speed at least for me and my use adds a nice storege drive.

It is working well. Not many SSD cards around that are: M.2, and form factor 2242 (smallest, not large like 2280), and key B+M (not M alone), and NVMe (not SATA) .

Habe damit meinen Dell latitude Laptop aufgerüstet.
