Working with Loctite dual syringe epoxy. To repair plastic parts.
Handy things to have. wire brush for Dremel to clean the parts of debris. Screws to close up the syringe after use. Wire Clipper to cut open the syringe. Small paper cup to mix the epoxy (with a skewer) Exam gloves to keep the epoxy off your hands. Pointers. Cut the label off the syringe That way you'll see how much epoxy you have. Use narrow strapping tape to hold the parts together until the epoxy cures. About an hour. Put the used syringe. In a sandwich bag. Along with the instructions. To keep the epoxy from getting all over the place. You'll be able to do about three repairs per syringe.

Product is unusable
I kept this epoxy at room temperature. I used it just several weeks after ordering it. Unfortunately when I tried to use the product by cutting off the tips and then pressing on the plunger, nothing came out. I used a drywall knife to open up the cylinders containing the resin and the hardener and found the one containing the resin had all crystallized. The hardener was still liquid but the resin was useless, making the whole product useless.

Its plastic glue that glues plastic.
Smells terrible. I got it on my hands. My hands smell terrible. Holds plastic together once it cures. Does not hold skin together; that is good!

Check Manufacturing Date and Consistency of Product
WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!! I bought this product in September 2025 and upon receiving it it had an expiration date of January 2026 (they have a 2 year shelf life), but this product was already defective without me realizing it. I hadn't used this exact product before so I didn't know what the consistency should be. I reached out to the seller but they don't care.

Great Product good at bonding and gap filling
Used this to bond a piece of Schedule 40 PVC that was used as an exhaust adapter on an adjustable paver drain that had broken off from a flat piece of PVC. It did a great job at adhesion. I also put a bead of it around the connection to reinforce it and filled some gaps in the flat plastic made when I cut it to install the adapter end. Really worked great. Made an extremely strong bond. Would highly recommend this product. It doesn’t go very far though so for bigger jobs but 2 as it takes awhile to get it delivered.
