Horrible quality, light and hollow inside (someone saved 2 cents on that), colors of plastic inconsistent among the blacks, seams of plastic are palpable, feels like a dollarama chessmen

I was hesitant when I purchased this set; however, I was beyond impressed when the chess pieces arrived. They were beautifully packaged. Each piece is well-made, solid, with smooth edges and a nice weight. Attention to the little details made all the difference. Each felt board protector was perfectly placed on center. The package arrived with two drawstring bags to store the pieces when not in use. It also included a nicely printed instructional manual for those not familiar with the game.

The pieces are beautiful and fit nicely in a 20" regulation chess board. The included storage bags are quite practical too.

It is what it is- cheap and usable chess pieces for my homemade chess board to be mainly used outdoors. The felt on the underside of each piece is a bit creased- but it does not deter from the individual pieces from standing upgright. To make this more durable, I will probably fill it with some kind of medium and make it heavier and buy new felt paper to glue on the underside. it works.
