The media could not be loaded.  2nd UPDATE: After I was sent the replacement whip this one hasn't spun on the quick release so no snapping of wire yay!! We had a crash and rolled over and landed upside down on our roll over cage (we were all fine) even our whips made it and still work!1st UPDATE: so I contacted them and said this hadn't happen to anyone else. I'm hoping mine was just a one time thing. They sent a replacement. We will install it this coming weekend and will change my review is anything goes wrong. 🤞🤞So I bought these because I saw that no one complained about them snapping like many others. I really liked that they had the attached spring to help combat the issue of snapping. Easy to install and honestly look amazing!! Great value for the money. I hadn't noticed that these were the quick connect also so it was a huge plus when I saw this. Unfortunately on the second day of riding the wire snapped because where the whip has the quick connect it starting turning from hitting some branches or the vibrations not sure and would rotate around the quick connect so much that it just snapped. I think that where the quick connect is should have some sort of lock so that it can't spin in circles. I was so bummed because I really loved these. Also having trouble u attaching it now. The quick connect is jammed. Not sure why, was having trouble the first time I put it and though maybe it just me not connecting it right but nope it's literally stuck that my husband can't unattach it now.

These are perfect. Do not waste your money on the plexiglass ones that do not have the spring because they will break first time they hit a branch. These are extremely sturdy wrapped in a silicone like substance and the spring allows for a lot of movement. We’ve rolled ours twice with them on it and they’re still going strong. Put them on our 2021 RZR Turbo and they look awesome angled out instead of straight up since we ordered the 4ft size. They are easy to install and come with a remote although we set ours on one thing and left it there.My only complaint is that the remote was not real accurate. You might press the blue button and they turn orange. The colors are off as far as the remote goes but you can play with it a bit an figure it out. It’s a small issue compared to the quality of the whips themselves. Also, they do come with all the correct hardware needed to install them.

The media could not be loaded.  I cannot say enough about this product. It is truly amazing. Totally dimmable with multiple lighting sequences. Too many to count.For installation, I urge the installer to either use a relay and or a switch. If not the remote control module will kill the battery. Other than that this is a sound and reliable product.We use them in a northern county in Michigan which allow ATV use on country roads and city streets. This LED lighted whip keeps us visible in all directions. Very pleased and would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I purchased this LED whip less than two months ago. I have had good luck with other Nilight products, so tried their LED whip. When I first used it, it worked well. Right up until I tried to disconnect it from the mount using the quick disconnect collar. It was almost impossible to remove from the spring base. I slid the release collar up and down multiple times, tried twisting, shaking and tugging on it, but it would not release. After about 20 minutes, I eventually got it to release and come off. I need to take it off after each use since my Jeep won’t fit in my garage with the whip mounted. I figured the problem was from the dust getting into the connection even though there is an o-ring at the bottom and should not be an issue since these are designed for use off road. I cleaned the slip collar, mounting base and ball bearings so it would not happen again. I made sure that the ball bearings that hold it onto the base moved freely. The next time I used it, same problem. Another 20 minutes or so of pulling, tugging, lifting and releasing the collar before it finally came off. I contacted Nilight about the defective connection and problems I have had. Their response was not to fix the defective product or replace it, but was just a very short response to use pressurized water to release the collar. Not at all practical at the end of a trail ride and I told them that in a response email never to hear from them again. I once again cleaned all connections well with compressed air, water and even put some dry graphite lube around the ball bearings making sure that they moved freely. The third time I used it, it would not come off no matter what I did. I tried everything including lifting the collar and twisting it with large pliers, prying it up with a large screwdriver along with all that I have tried before. It refused to come off the base. I had to remove the spring base and whip as one unit just to pull into my garage. They obviously have an extremely poorly designed and manufactured product and refuse to do anything about it to make things right. With all of the other options on the market, avoid this one like the plague!

When I got these, one was old lit half way but I disconnected it and reconnected it and hasn't done it again. 4 stars because I can not get the quick connect to work so I can take them off.. cupler moves but wipe will not come off.. bummer because I wanted to keep them out of the sun when not using them so the silicone won't fade and look tacky or be less bright.. I lost my remote and they sent me a new one for just shipping costs. Do not use the remote lock feature which makes it to where only that remote works for it. If you lose remote you might be screwed.

Got a defective switch so had to byspass temporarily I need a replacement switch one terminal is only working intermittently

Light stopped working after the first ride, and we are by no means rough drivers.
