Important safety equipment
I like to lacquer my woodworking projects. But I've read that aerosol lacquer is one of the most dangerous things you can inhale. Even though I spray on lacquer at the outside edge of my open garage, the lacquer fumes are very strong and you can just tell that they are no good for your lungs. So, I ordered this filter and I don't smell any lacquer fumes at all. It is relatively comfortable to use (though of necessity if seals your face pretty thoroughly), and is easy to put on and take off. I feel so much better using this and it's ease of use really gives me no excuse not to.

Very good for sanding/spray painting
Works exactly as it should. This is a mask, not pieces of cloth. Bought it for my painting project to protect my lungs while sanding and spray painting. It's effective at blocking out sanding particles. Spray paint too, except I could smell it slightly as vapors are tiny particles but it was so much better than a cloth/paper mask which is garbage. It was comfortable and lightweight that it didn't feel like I had it on. Also make sure you get goggles as they are not included.

Straps Don't stay put.
Use all day long at work (10hrs) strap comes loose from plastic holder couple times a day n not long enough to just put knot on it. But filters well n comfortable

Works great
I bought this mask to paint car parts and it works. It fits me very well and it comfortable. For how much this masks costs, it’s a great value for someone who likes to do DIY stuff every once in a while.

Affordable Mask for Hobby Airbrush Painting
I bought this mask to wear while I airbrush. Out of the box it was pretty easy to assemble and start using right away. The device has adjustable straps to dial in how tight or loose of a fit you need and it features two anchor areas - a slip-over plastic halo that sits on the crown of your head, and a hook and plastic clasp that go around the back of your neck. If you don't adjust properly, the rubber mouth covering tends to sit pretty heavily against the bridge of the nose, so take some extra care in dialing in the strap lengths.I do wear glasses while wearing this mask it is possible to do so, but the nose covering can have a tendency to bump into my glasses if I lower my chin and the filters bump my chest or work area (a minor complaint I suppose). Ultimately, I'm able to do multi-hour sessions with my airbrushes without getting headaches (from the fumes or from the weight of the device) so the mask fulfills its purpose. The mask comes with a few extra cotton pads to last you a good while before you need to buy any replacements.
