This is an outstanding Football book. Bielsa's methods are broken down in easy to understand chapters with simple illustrations. The illustrations are always on the same double page as well which makes them easy to reference when reading the related text, not something that all books do. Definitely improved my understanding of Football as a whole and the fine details of Bielsa's Leeds. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of the game.

This is a very interesting book on football tactics as used by Bielsa. Initially it appears to be a bit hard going but as you read on and the author gives actual examples of plays we can see and understand the mans tactics and how he uses his players. Bamford role as a lone front man and the effort he puts in closing players down is highlighted , all the pressing of opponents are fully explained. Overall a worthwhile read for any football fan.
