Worked for our puppy, but she's a big dog now and it is not needed any more so t used it to clean my keyboard.

I’ve tried the devices that make high pitched noise and those did nothing (tried 2 or 3 different styles and brands), finally tried these and they immediately caused my landlords big dogs to stop jumping on me. It just lets out a sudden burst of air with a kind of hiss sound and it freaks them out and they stay away from me. It only took one time and they remembered it and are slow to approach me and now I can walk to check my mail without getting trampled. I love these things! I had grown to dread checking the mail because I just get bombarded by these dogs and I’m small, but now I can go out there with one of these and feel confident and comfortable. I haven’t gone through a whole can yet. I’ve had them for months but since the dogs remember the experience, I don’t need to use it every time. I’ve probably only had to spray it ~5 times since I purchased about 5 months ago.

Dogs say it’s no good, but I love it, 3 jealous dogs will quit barking now!!! Hoping to stop the competitive barking. I hold up the canister and all done!!

Although this device is an effective deterrent I only gave it 3 stars because it requires a strong trigger finger which I apparently don't have. At first I thought there must be some sort of 'lock' on the button and asked my son the rock climber (who had recommended it to me) how to release it. So I would advise anyone who is not accustomed to hanging by their fingertips from tiny cracks in cliffs to try one out first . . . before buying the 5 count pack like I did.

We have been using these for sometime and they work great for training your pet. The new design with the blue lid is so difficult to use that I won’t buy them again unless they change the design. You have to press the trigger so hard to make it work that you have to hold the bottle in one hand and press with the other hand and I am a man who works in construction, problem with this is, usually you need to do something quickly to distract or train your pet. My suggestion to the manufacture get your money back from the person who redesigned this & change the design back. A message to the manufacture. I will be happy to redo this review if you get it, changed and contact me..
