Good accountability timer
I purchased this timer initially so I'd stop procrastinating and allow me to study more effectively. By setting the timer for short periods of time (e.g., 5-10mins) it allows me to get started on work and get the ball rolling. It's easy to use and not distracting while also being aesthetically pleasing. The magnet on the back is useful as I use it to properly up against a metal infinity cube I have on my desk.

A fantastic productivity hack for ADHD
I love this timer.I have ADHD, and as a result my focus dips frequently. I use this timer for 2 reasons. 1, for workouts. I set myself times for basketball drills and use this for it. Very useful. The main reason I purchased it is for my office. I run my own business, but when working I take 20 minutes per task or sub task, and set this timer to just lock in. The gamification of it makes it easier for me.The timer itself is very easy to use. Fast turn of the dial for minutes, slow turn for minutes. Press it down, and away you go. When it goes off, press it again and it resets to the last time saved. It has an auto-off function, so battery lasts a long time.I like the magnetic function of it. In my office it sticks to my monitor arm, and is very easy to use. Simply put, this is a fantastic tool for productivity for me, and I'd be lost without it. I used to use my phone timer, but I prefer being able to see it.

A bit basic finish
Did timer is really useful but the finish/ material lets it down.It looks pretty, it’s easy enough to operate and easy to read the numbers.Think it will work well on a magnetic background but on a table top it just turn with the dial making it a two hand job to adjust time. I have put some little glue dots underneath and that has helped but rubber feet would have been great.I have lots of joy out of it. Good for keeping track of time.Would have been great with quality material and would happily have paid more for that

Best Value Timer - Aluminium Ring!
I ordered 4 timers to pick my favourite and this was my top pick overall.Even though it mentions in the description I didn't realise the outer ring used to set the timer was metal. The metal edges were cool to the touch, much more premium feeling than other timers that use plastic. It even came with batteries - a steal at £9.99 when I bought it but even at £12.99 I would still buy it without hesitation.I use it as a pomodoro timer for work but it does have magnets on it to stick onto things, and they support the weight of the timer and smooth swivel wheel means it's strudy as you twist to set the duration.Bright screen, responsive as soon as you turn the dial, has an eco mode and 3 different sound settings.Yet to see how battery life will be in the long run. Runs on 3 x AAAs

Was great for 3 months, but now it's dead
I purchased this in January and I loved it! I use it mostly for the pomodoro time-blocking method for my ADHD to help me stay focused on work. Unfortunately a few weeks ago the display stopped lighting up, and after switching out the batteries to new ones it no longer turns on. I've contacted support and will update if I get any response. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for the price considering it died after a few months...

Expensive but worth it - great for Pomodoro timer
I use mine as a productivity timer (Pomodoro technique) and it's the best one I've found. Everything else I've used is fiddly and counterproductive, including the proper Pomodoro apps on your phone. Dial in your chosen time, press go and it counts down. Perfect. It feels good to use - not like the cheap plastic ones and came with batteries, unlike the cheaper versions. And unlike most kitchen timers, it doesn't tick. So if you listen to music like me when you work, it won't be irritatingly asynchchronous with the beat.It also remembers the last time you dialled in, so I'm considering buying another for the 5's.

Good Times
Simple and effective digital timer with large numbers. Accurate as both a timer and a stopwatch. Not so easy to set because it is so sensitive, it is easy to move dial from 18 to 98 minutes with just a small movement so it is important to check the numbers before starting. The Start/Stop button is a small dot at the very bottom of the screen, easily missed.Overall: a very good LED timer but requires practice to use quickly.
