the 1/4 inch peg is too big what size should i buy?

Same thing happened to me. The 1/8 " was too small and the 1/4" was too big. So I got a calculator and figured out that between those two is 3/16" and Amazon sells this size. I received them just today, 11/18 and they WORK ! Try that size.

What is one size bigger than this? These are just a little too small for our existing peg holes. I'm confused by all the measurements.

If these are 1/4 inch pegs it sounds like you may need at least the 3/8 inch peg? Take a ruler and measure across the center of the hole and that should be the size of the peg you will need!
