The Adventures of Peter and Frank: The Battersea Banana Burglars

I read this story to my 8-year old on her birthday and she was captured by its charm and silliness from the get go. The characters were believable with great emotional depth, pitched perfectly for little ones but also for the parents to enjoy.Particularly of note were the illustrations that I explained to my daughter were drawn by a girl not much older than her - this fired her up no end!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
