This book is like a mathematical quantitative approach to working with and understanding the chakras and is the perfect conpanion to two other approaches that I know of, one being Sanaya Roman's "Soul Linking" which takes the approach of a practice, and Kim Michael's " Heal Yourself by Clearing the Chakras" which takes the approach of a philosophy and a ritual. Between the three you will get a good workout, training, and understanding.

Eckhart Tolle explained that we are much more than just a body or a mind in his book "The Power of the Now". "The Advanced Studies of the Human Aura" took me to the next level and beyond, because it describes more about who we really are in that "Now", and offers practical suggestions to get there. I love the importance given to the many ways to strengthen the aura including the importance given to solar gazing. The first half is very esoteric and inspirational, the beautiful artwork in the center is inspirational and the authors personal stories and knowledge shine through the second half.
