Great for starting out in digital art!
I've always wanted to get a drawing tablet and try digital art but I didn't know where to look. A friend of mine recommended I give the Huion tablets a try and I can say the huion tablets are great! I got the tablet a week ago and I've been having a blast with it. Very easy to use and it works with majority of drawing software out there. Everything came in the case in great condition. What I love about it is with the pen they give you eight extra pen tips in case you need to replace it. The price is also very nice as most other brands are good but also very expensive at times. So if you want to give digital art a try and not spend a fortune on a drawing tablet. I would say give Huion drawing tablets a try. They are easy to use and affordable.

Super great for amateurs and hobbyists
A while ago I bought the Inspiroy H420X because, despite it being very small, I was new to pen tablets and wasn't sure how much I'd actually be interested. I was blown away by the H420X and decided that a bigger pad was worth it, and, further, that I would be going with a Huion. Enter the Inspiroy 1060P. It is SUCH a joy to work with. The software is very simple and easy to navigate/manage, as well, which is a HUGE plus for me. Huion really has their UI/UX act together, which is so dismally rare in a world where user experience should be paramount, considering how much we rely on tech. It also plays well with third-party tablet software like Lazy Nezumi. This pad, by the way, is huge. So much room, and the usable area is fully customizable via the software, and takes less than a minute to set up for whatever your workspace is. The pen and nibs are also interchangeable between my two tablets, so I don't need to worry about getting more nibs, just for this one. Maybe that's not surprising, but, again, I'm new to the pen tablet world, so I think that's just cool. My one complaint is that the USB port on the tablet itself (or maybe it's the cable, I'm not sure which) is veeeery tight-fitting, and I wouldn't be surprised if bent pins or something are in the future. I hope not, but I feel like even if you're handling this as gingerly as humanly possible, the connection is just so close that an accident might be unavoidable. I suppose I'll cross that bridge when/if I get to it, but other than that, this is a great tablet at a great price. I'm probably going to stick with Huion through my journey with digital art, with my next step being one of their pen displays!

Budget and beginner friendly quality
Huion has always been my preferred graphics tablet brand since I became a digital artist. My previous tablet was one of the cheapest Huion had to offer, and it lasted for years! This new tablet is an incredible upgrade while remaining affordable, great for anybody new to digital art. It's tilt function and pressure sensitivity make drawing smooth and detailed with no line jittering or delay. I personally do not use hotkeys often, so the buttons being small and non-invasive work for me. I do use the scroll bar more often than I thought I would. The driver was easy to find and install from Huion's website. Just plug in and download, and it's ready to use because the pen requires no battery or charging- which is a huge w. I was totally amazed about being able to do the same thing with my phone. While it's super lightweight, it does take up desk space. You could have it in your lap if your desk is small. The pen is also very light, and it was kind of strange since I'm used to metal mechanical pencils. So it does feel a little cheap along with the pen holder. Otherwise, really great budget-friendly option for any level of artist !

Love it! No regrets, I recommend 100%
I bought a small Wacom Intuos on a whim a couple of months ago, just to see if I would be interested in creating digital art. Getting used to using a drawing tablet took me a couple of hours but after that I was hooked. I quickly realized that the small Intuos did not have enough surface area and my wrist and forearm were getting sore because the small surface area was causing me to bend my wrist unnaturally. After doing some research I decided a bigger tablet was what I needed- but the price tag on an Intuos Medium size tablet was more than I was willing to pay as an amateur/beginner artist. If you are a professional or very experienced artist or designer, I'm guessing you know exactly what you need and probably aren't reading this anyway, so my advice is intended for those who are just getting started. My advice is- buy this tablet! I wish I had not spent the money on the Wacom and purchased the Huion NEW1060 to start with. For basically the same price you get WAY more surface area, and besides the minor inconvenience of having to charge the pen, I like everything about the Huion pen better than the Intuos one. It feels better in hand, the tip feels better on the surface of the tablet, and the pressure sensitivity is just as good. If you are thinking about investing in a tablet to get started with digital art- you are getting more bang for your buck with this Huion than you are with the comparably priced Intuos pen and touch small. Sure the different Intuos versions come with included software to get you started (FYI Corel Painter and their customer service is garbage, Artrage is awesome especially for a beginner, but that's a different review) but still the Huion is a better deal. Once you learn the basics you will find that there are better programs available depending on your needs, some are very inexpensive or even free. If you are just getting started or want to upgrade to a larger tablet without breaking the bank, buy this with no hesitation Pros - 12 programmable express keys and 16 hot keys, once you figure out what shortcuts you want to map, you don't even need to use the keyboard. No issues at all getting the command I want mapped to the key I want. (Make sure you are getting the NEW1060 I have heard of issues with the previous 1060 model) - SURFACE AREA!! if you are currently using the baby sized Intuos or are debating between the two, I promise the extra working area makes a huge difference - Price- what you get for the price is a steal compared to any Wacom product in the same class. I can't say if that is true for the higher end professional level products, but for less than 100 bucks this tablet is not intended for pros -no touch feature. I've seen this positioned as a con, but for me I don't want the tablet to register anything besides the tip of the pen. I was constantly irritated when I would accidentally swipe the Intuos surface with my hand and have to go back and correct whatever moved as a result Cons - one thing I did like about the Intuos driver was the ability to set the shortcut buttons for different programs (example the same button could be programmed to be CTRL + X if I'm using Artrage, but SHIFT + = if I'm using GIMP) if there is a way to do this on the Huion I haven't figured out how. But with 24 more programmable buttons on the Huion to work with it's not that big of a deal - minor inconvenience to have to remember to charge the pen. In conclusion- the main complaint I've seen with the Huion tablets has been the drivers not working or not working correctly. The manual that came with was not specific to the 1060 model and was pretty much worthless. I did have an issue at first but that was my own fault not Huion's. Once I realized my error I completely deleted all driver files, started from scratch with the included driver and everything works perfectly. I know I sound like an a-hole when I say this... but if you can't figure out some basic install or download issues for the driver then you probably aren't capable of understanding how to use art and image editing programs, and should find a different hobby to spend money on. I'm sure a professional could find some things to complain about, but for someone getting started or needing an inexpensive upgrade to a bigger tablet, I say just buy it! I'm loving mine.

Really good.
I do recommend this tablet. Works really great. I am not a pro, but it feels very good to use it. Perfect for 3D modeling.

Most worthwhile purchase :,)
Connecting it to the computer was somewhat tricky at first but it works just fine when you get it right overall, it’s easy to use & I love playing with the pen settings! If you raise your hand too far from the screen it does start to lag, so that’s reason enough for me to practice using less strokes for line art LMFAO. If you have the tablet turned the right way it’s very accurate, but it can’t be turned upside down & write funny so, y’know, keep it upright :)) It’s writing is very smooth, though, & fun to practice pen pressure with. These are my opinions so try it for yourself when your like!! ⭐️

High quality and great price
I bought this for my son who graduated with his graphic design degree in order for him to get some extra experience with digital drawing without having to use a mouse. This tablet is terrific. It has customizable pen and buttons on the tablet so that he can choose what actions he wants to program each to do.

Software is a nightmare
Okay. Where do I begin? First off, the hardware is great. I love the size of the tablet, the pen is wonderful, and all the accessories are stellar. Unfortunately, that's really the only good I can say about this tablet. The software and the cables are abysmal, and forced me to return this device for a refund; it was just plain unusable. To begin, the USB cable that came with the device was either damaged somehow, or assembled incorrectly. Part of the USB-A end is malformed, making plugging it into a device nearly impossible. I had to very carefully squeeze the misformed part with a pair of pliers to "squish" it down slightly so that it would actually fit into a USB slot. There's only one thing that I want a standardized cable to do, and that's fit into both ends; unfortunately, this cable only had a 50% success rate at that one simple goal. Once I had that working, the tablet finally functioned. Kind of. The software for this device is absolutely horrid. For reference, I was attempting to use this tablet with Photoshop CS7 2017 on Windows 10 Pro on a 3x 1080p monitor set up on an AMD R9 390 in Eyefinity. In less than eight hours of sketching with this tablet, I experienced all of the following problems: 1. It isn't compatible with ultra widescreen setups. Even though the software allows configurations to be used on ultra widescreens (in my case, 5760x1080), they don't actually work. Even though I set the software to map the tablet to my middle monitor -- and just my middle monitor -- the tablet refused to follow directions and always worked across all of my monitors. This meant that whenever I want to draw, I'd have to open up my video drivers, disable Eyefinity, rearrange every desktop application, and then repeat the opposite direction when I was done drawing. Otherwise, the only option was to have only one third of the tablet's space available. 2. Even when ultra widescreen is disabled, it will randomly change monitor. So even when I disabled Eyefinity and set the tablet to work on only the middle monitor as I desired, it still didn't matter. Randomly, when pressing any of the utility buttons on the left side, the tablet will change which monitor it works on. This, of course, completely throws me off. I'll be in the middle of a line, hit undo for a quick revision, and suddenly my mouse is dragging things around either my left or right monitor. I have to stop what I'm doing, open the tablet drivers, and then readjust it to be on the middle monitor again... over and over. 3. The setup is laughably poor quality for professional software. Rather than allow me to map keys to the side buttons via pressing the key, you're instead given a dropdown box, which then contains most keys on your keyboard. No, really. That's incredibly amatuer, and something I'd expect to see from a year one CS student, not a huge company like this. This also has the side effect of not letting me use whichever key I desire; I wanted to bind one of the buttons to Mouse 5, but that isn't an option in the drop down box so I just can't do it. This ignores the grammatical errors, of which there are several. Even their website proudly boasts that they are in "100 countries snd regions" and they "gain 150 mem-bers to our market team" in 2010. I realize that this is a Chinese company, but man, that is some low effort. 4. The software does some REALLY bizarre stuff. Every once in a while, the tablet buttons will get hung up on the down state. The buttons themselves function fine, and don't stick, but the software will register them as permanently depressed. And when I then hit a second button, the software manages to, somehow -- and this truly boggles my mind -- open my System32 folder in Explorer and attempts to copy a random folder over itself. No, I'm serious. I don't even know how that happens, but I swear, that's literally something that just... happens. 5. It throws errors. In Chinese. Most of the above problems were accomponied by a pop-under error box. This is super frustrating because I'll be working on something in Photoshop and my tablet will just stop responding. I won't notice for a few seconds until I realize the past few button presses haven't registered. Then I tab out to look, and oh, there's the error. In Chinese. I do not speak Chinese. In fact, I have not seen any error message in English, so I can't possibly hope to figure out what is happening. Every error (and there have been many) are in Chinese, so whatever the problem is I cannot ever know, nor can I even look up something on their website because there's no error code either. Just a message in Chinese, that I can't read or translate. 6. Their support forum is dead and filled with spammers. I saw that their website had a support forum for fans of their products to chat, so I figured that maybe I would make a post and see if people had some advice on these problems. The forum for this device (1060 Plus) has had less than five posts in the past month, and it is all people just posting their issues and then receiving no support. The other forums are filled with several days worth of spam for some essay writing company, with no deletions in sight by forum administration or Huion. Professional. In conclusion... The hardware is pretty great, especially for the price. When the tablet works, it works awesome. I love the pen, and the device itself. No worries there at all. Unfortunately, the software is so miserable that it throws any desire to use it out the window and makes for an incredibly infuriating experience to the point that I just don't want to put up with it.
