It's HP Sauce, the best tasting brown sauce out there! First time I've had the squeezable bottle but I like it vs the traditional square glass bottle which is, while familiar and historic, a pain to get the sauce moving in and hard to get the last drop out of too. Given that it has to be shipped from the UK to the US, the value for money is acceptable in my view. For me, its the quintessential breakfast sauce for sausages, eggs and corned beef hash. Nothing else in the US tastes like it or can replace it. Yummy!

Wanted to try the British product I'd seen in a cooking show. Pretty descent.
I watch a youtube.com show called 'Sorted'. The repeatedly referenced this sauce. I wanted to try it, so I ordered a couple of bottles. It's not the same color, but to me it tasted almost identical to Heinz 57. There was an extra sweetness to it, but it was pretty subtle. I assume that's from the tamarind. If you're ordering this product, your either an ex-pat wanting something familiar, or your like me and you want to expand your food horizons. You'll probably order it just to confirm my impressions. I know i probably would. It's good, doesn't cost much and I received it quickly and in good condition, so I say go for it. It's not bad, I'll just get Heinz 57 in the future.

A must in every kitchen
THE brown sauce: ‘HP Sauce is the great British sauce, HP sauce is the greatest of course…’ as the old jingle went, and that’s all you need to know. Delicious.

Very tasty sauce!
My friend told me about this sauce. I could not find it in our stores but I did find it online. We tried it on our steak and on our chicken. It is really good! It is not as peppery as A-1 and not as sweet as most BBQ sauces are. It really is in a class of its own, and is a nice change from BBQ and A-1 sauce. I gave the other bottle to my son, he really likes it as well. Disadvantage: It is a bit hard to get out of the bottle, kind of like the old fashioned ketchup and bottles where the ketchup must be shaken down to the mouth of the bottle.

La salsa HP original es deliciosa con varios tipos de carne, en guisos y sopas. Ha sido la salsa número uno en hogares y restaurantes de Gran Bretaña durante muchas generaciones. Se exporta a todo el mundo. Pero es imposible encontrarlo en algunas regiones del mundo. Vivo en México y no se puede comprar en ninguno de los principales supermercados. Entonces lo pido a través de Amazon y es muy caro. Pero hay ocasiones especiales y ciertas recetas que requieren salsa HP. Entonces pago el precio extorsionado. De todos modos, estoy feliz de que esté disponible en Amazon.mx.
