Absolute garbage. The materials fit and finish could not be any worse. The bolt that holds the two pieces together was so misaligned that it was stripped on arrival. Very poor quality. And of course I don't have the correct tap to make it an easy fix.In the photo the nut is not centered on the hole and there is a burr from their punch so you can't tighten the wing nut. (The red is what needs to be removed). You would think a fixture company could make a fixture to align these two parts in the manufacturing process)

Very disapointed. Magnets failed on first day. Great design and idea but sorry magnets. Replaced the tab magnets with earth magnets

So, ya, I admit, Im a dummy, I put off this review for a while now, because I've heard nothing but good things about this tool. I couldn't figure this thing out at first, so I just used the main magnets to hold corners. Then finally I saw a video demonstrating how to use the whole thing, and finally made sense. Now I can't figure out how I welded tabs with out it.

Nice magnets that hold my parts securely while tack welding them into position.......remember these are for holding parts for tack welding,he who cuts corners and runs a bead next to a holding fixture is a dumbasskuss.

I really like this product. The magnet strength is good and it is easy to use. I found that owning two is a better fit for me. It is a must have for anyone doing light fabrication welding. I used it for holding and positioning of 3/8 steel plate for a snow plow frame I was making. Held the plate well. Best solution ever!

I have used this product in a few projects and have found it helpful. As another user mentioned, tack welds should be made because of potential heat damage to the magnets. How long the magnets hold their strength is as yet unknown,hence the 4 star rating.....

I read a positive review on this Stringhand MagTab. I was tired of the awkward way I would prop up small items or delicate parts to tack weld. You don’t realize how useful this is until you have one and see all the possible uses.

I love this little adjustable magnetic helper. And I'm going to get a few more. I would recommend to any steel fabricators out there

Very large and very robust. Large enough for scaffold poles and square posts. The twin magnets are also very powerful. It's very awkward to weld metal poles without a tool like this. I also have some smaller magnetic clamps together with this Mag Tab which makes spot welding easy !!!

Excellent Product...I think i'm going to wonder how I ever managed without them.

Das Produkt hat mich voll überzeugt. Es hat eine sehr gute Qualität und ist tadellos verarbeitet. Die Magnete sind auch stark genug um entsprechende Teile zu hallten. Zu beachten ist lediglich das dieses Werkzeug zum Punkten eingesetzt werden sollte da ansonsten das Schweissbad durch die Magnete gestört werden.
