These Kong Classic Dog Toys are perfectly sized for a puppy or small (around 12 pounds) dog. The vivid color doesn't diminish with washing and chewing.I put the treat inside the holes of the Kongs and keep them frozen. They become treats for my puppy when she is kenneled and we leave the house. Freezing them gives puppy something cold to enjoy and chew. It takes longer (more chew time) to release the treat inside. The benefit for you is that a frozen treat is less messy than one that's room temperature.These are puppy approved!

The low star review is solely due to unhappiness with the product size. Small means small! I have a 9 pound puppy and I think these are too small for him to enjoy. I think the small version is best for tiny toy dogs (5 pounds and under). If your pet is over 5 pounds, I would go with the medium. I have bought Kongs for other dogs and these little ones were still the same nice quality. Again, rating is for size. Product was not defective.

My pup chewed the too off this Kong. There small aren't as tougg as the light pink or blue puppy kongs. And the small hole made it so things inside couldn't be gotten to, unlike puppy Kong where dog can lick into both sides. Be careful. My dog vit off top, to and an inch of this toy wgot stuck in her GI Tract. She had emergency surgery. The vet was surprised she didn't choke on it!

Dog thinks these are amazing. Particularly with peanut butter. It’s small enough for our 6 pound puppy to carry around in his mouth. Also, it’s indestructible from what I can tail. After the nuclear war, all that is going to be left are cockroaches and Kong dog toys.
