"longer"if you plan to Rack up Scoped / large Mag rifles this is not the Gun rack you may be able to fit a scoped rifle on the top but the bottom two would be difficult.Recommend for 10/22, lever action, shotguns and long rifles "assuming you measured and placed accordingly.

This gun rack is okay, but a gun rack that is all wood, without any metal hooks would be better. The metal hooks have pads on them, but the corners of the hooks aren't covered and they can still scratch your guns depending on the shape. The hooks with the felt pads will only protect your guns if they are flat tubes, but if the stock or hardware has any slope to it, it can come in contact with the sharp unprotected metal corner on the metal hook. I wrapped the metal hooks with black cloth electrical tape in order to prevent scratches to my guns. But seriously, I should not have had to modify the rack with the tape in order to avoid scratching my guns.

Nicely finished and with the screws and wood plus provided all I needed to do was level it and attach it the wall. I did add felt over the screws that hold the metal gun mounts to wood after seeing someone else post about those scratching the stock of their gun. All my guns are wood stock by choice so you do have to be careful about such things.

The quality of the wood and metal is great. Whoever assembled it did not learn to measure twice and cut (drill holes) once. The brackets are not close to being aligned with one another. So, I am not sure what to do with them. They look great though! 😀

Beautiful product. 3 standard bolt or lever action rifles or shotguns will fit this perfectly but the hooks are a bit too close together for AR's or KSG's without some re-bending.

Well made and very attractive. I have three sets now. I use them to display Civil War rifles and I could not be happier with them. Beautifully accents the rifles without distracting from them.
