Yes I cooked in oven until outside was crispy then took it out sliced strips off then finished on griddle to desired taste

Q: how long is this good if kept in the freezer?

Its rather large so keep that in mind but I would say with the bag it comes in, well sealed would last 6 to 8 months as long as its always kept airtight in the bag. It was delicious by the way and worth what I had paid.
