The knob to lock the slider is tiny and almost useless. Doesn't lock, just slips. No Me.Chan, we don't need to add detentes int the slider tack. That would ad $.002 to cost.

Looks can be deceiving when a picture is has no size comparison beside the item. Well, all I can say is none of my circuit boards are that small.

I have this and another heavier one. My PCB bench vice doesn't really work out that well for odd shaped cell phone PCBs. This one is great for picking up and inspecting the solder work and such when repairing cell phones and great for holding them in place and keep the pcb from sliding around when working on it. The heavier one is is also larger and the PCB is definitely not going to slide around on the bench either.
