5 Pounds of #2 J.O. Crab Seasoning

Could not be more happy with this purchase, I thought this stuff would be harder to get since leaving Baltimore but am so happy I found this online! I don't make crabs very often anymore but it is also excellent on popcorn!Tastes similar to Old Bay but more salty, exactly the perfect recipe for steamed crabs!

This item arrived with a broken seal and seasoning spilling out inside the plastic. It says it is not returnable, because it is a food item. I would appreciate a replacement that is not unsealed.

4/1/24 - 5 Pounds of #2 J.O. Crab SeasoningJ.O. Spice is the best. I've been using it since the 80s. It's he spice that most crabhouses in Maryland use. It is light, allowing the taste of the seafood to shine through. When I was young, my parents used the grocery store competitor spice. At the time, I liked it because that was all I knew. In the 80s, I started running a trot line to catch crabs. With a large number of crabs and family crab feasts, my significant other went to to the J.O. Spice plant outside of Baltimore, MD and bought a 50 lb box. After that, that was all I used.A lot of seafood, when fresh, has a delicate taste. J.O. Spice compliments the taste of seafood, whereas, the competitor spice over-powers the taste, making all seafood taste somewhat the same. It's fine if you want to mask the taste of something. If you want to taste the unique flavors of crab, shrimp, fish, etc., J.O. is the best.I no longer run a trotline, but J.O. Spice remains my spice of choice when it comes to seafood.

Didn’t feel safe to use. Plastic container had a broken & taped seal.Food product was even on outside of container. Box it was shipped in was not damaged. Food item not returnable. 😡
