Wall Control Pegboard Organizer 8 ft Pegboard Master Workbench Kit with Red Toolboard and Black Slotted Hooks

This arrived today in a fairly heavy box. Instead of procrastinating, I decided to set it up right away. Make sure you have a power drill, or your life will be pain. Used a stud finder to mount as many as possible on the studs, I think I ended up using a few of the drywall mounts, but not a lot. My garage must have an odd stud arrangement. Regardless, some of the panels were a little bit bent on the corners. At first I was really upset and thought I'd have to get it switched out, but as the screws went in, the metal straightened out. The spray paint can shelf was slightly bent, but nothing that I couldn't fix with my bare hands. I almost wish the spray paint can shelf was just another shelf, but whatever, it's kind of nice to have and I actually found a can to stick up there while cleaning out the garage. I was able to mount the entire thing by myself, but it would have been nice to have someone help hold the panel while I used a level to get it straight. Once the first one is up, the rest are cake. It would be nice if they included more mounts as I ran out. I had a few that I used from an old wooden pegboard and they fit in the holes just fine. All in all I'm glad I bought it. It's very sturdy and not going anywhere. Was it worth the price? Well, I guess that's a relative question... I think it could have been cheaper, but, It's better than the pegboards. Plus, most of the pegboards that are sold on Amazon don't come with any mounts, especially the bin mounts which I ended up using the most. I wish they included some blank labels to be able to stick on the front of the bins too...

Very impressed - definitely more costly than getting MDF pegboard panels from you local home store but well worth it when done. Used most of the provided hooks but the real advantage is that you can put magnetic organizers on it for sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. I would recommend getting it on as many studs as possible - mine was pre-planned with a shop renovation so every lag is in a 2x4. I’d be very reluctant & nervous to have that much weight hanging on Sheetrock anchors. Good looking product & well made

This is a solid product. Literally. My old house came with flimsy particleboard pegboards behind the workbench. They got the job done, but they didn't look very nice, and some of the holes were worn/warped due to the weight of tools hanging there. My new house had no workbench, and when I got tired enough of hunting through boxes on shelves for my tools I decided to build my own. After extensive research I came upon this pegboard kit and ordered without hesitation. I was not disappointed. I mounted horizontal furring strips to the walls above my workbench (another review) and then attached the pegboard panels to the strips. Easy and sturdy.The included organizational items are all nice (I particularly like the paper towel dispenser and spray can holders). My old pegs also work fine in the new system, although the little plastic hold-down clips don't fit. As long as I'm not yanking tools off of the board this isn't a problem.All in all, a great choice for a nice looking and sturdy addition to your shop/workbench.

I initially invested in this product to have a wall storage solution that lasts and looks great and let me say these panels did not disappoint. The paint job (I picked blue with black bins and hooks) is well done and thick. The way the hooks insert into the pegboard takes some getting used to but once you figure it out these pegs are rock solid. GONE are the days of bumping into things from underneath and knocking everything off the pegboard, everything is metal and everything locks very nicely into place.This was a six panel setup and several of my panels did arrive damaged (this was an amazon warehouse deal so I guess that is what I have come to expect from anything discounted in the Amazon Warehouse). I figured it couldn't hurt to contact the manufacturer and see if they could help me out with some replacements. They replied within the hour, I had replacements sent out to me at no cost within the day. I have never been so well taken care of by a company, this US based company has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Buy these pegboard, they are endlessly customizable, built to last, and run by a stellar company you'd be proud to support. I don't expect too much from a company but the bare minimum, they went way above and beyond. I am a very happy guy and my garage has never been so good looking and functional.

I love the way the hooks stay in place. This is the best pegboard system I have ever used. The only down side is that I feel it is a little expensive ... and the add on accessories I feel border on being out of line expensive. That's why I dropped the rating to four stars. In addition, when multiple panels are being joined, there should be some sort of tab or something that can be used to help align the panels. I really like the brackets for the hanging bins. Other than that, I was happy enough with it I purchased an additional value package.

Best "peg board" I've ever used. Wall control does exactly what it says it will do and it is well made. I used 8' long firring strips secured to studs that I then screwed the wall control panels to. I predrilled the holes to ensure the wood (and studs) wouldn't split or cause issue with the mounting screws and it worked perfectly. System is easy to lineup and if you perfect align each panel to the panel beside it you can mount longer Wall Control attachments across the panels. The instructions state you can even slightly bend the guide prongs on the side of the attachments to provide a tighter fittment with less wobble if needed. To be honest, I didn't need to do that as I was alright with the slight movement of the attachments, but if I needed something that didn't move at all a few tweaks with a set of pliers would have made quick work of it. I'll be buying more of this system in the future when my next project arrives. There is no reason with proper care that this product wouldn't last several lifetimes of use.

This pegboard system is a solid design and is made of quality materials. It can be somewhat challenging to install if you are screwing into studs that are not spaced right on 16 inch centres, but it can certainly be done. If you appreciate products that are durable and precisely made then you will really appreciate the value of this product.

This has been the single best purchase I have made...My tools are all nicely organized and out of harm's way. Easy accessibility and aesthetically pleasing.
