Very good flatwounds - perfect tension, nice tone
These strings are great for my '76 fretless Rickenbacker 4001 - fairly low tension, but with a bit more growl than other flatwounds. They complement the Rick nicely, bringing out the basses' tonal character.

They don't come much better.
The best flatwound bass strings bar none. Great tone all over the fretboard, and pretty long lasting as well. Be prepared for them to be a bit sticky for a while, but otherwise I highly recommend them.
