Great bobbin but akward
It's a great bobbin, but took me a while to get used to it. I change spools frequently, and the disk drag system is kind of a pain. I have been using std frame bobbins, and this one took some getting use to. The single arm to the tip a bit awkward for me.. Still a good bobbin, but I sent it down the road.

Very fragile, ceramic lasted 2 days
I have and use the standard ceramic bobbin, so i got this for my saltwater flies. The ceramic tube is very long on this one, which makes it pretty fragile. As you can see in my picture. This one broke after hitting the hook point on the 5th fly tied with it.

Good product
Probably the best bobbin for under $40. My only issue is that it seems to cut my thread every few flies. My other bobbins don’t do this.

Good bobbin. Who writes these questionnaires?
The questionnaire asks about sheerness and thickness. What are these qualities in relation to a bobbin? Who writes these questionnaires? This is my favorite bobbin. It has a good weight, the barrel has plenty of reach for large flies and it is easy to use. I will be purchasing more.

Very helpful tool
Great bobbin and a pleasure to use. The ability to tighten my wraps at the spool is helpful. But the price of $35 for what it is only exemplifies that everything in the fly fishing world is unnecessarily way over-priced
