Perfect walnuts!

Oh this mold was an amazing addition to my holiday baking. It’s smaller than I expected, but it worked so well and cookies baked so fast that before I knew it, I had dozens of cookies done. My recommendation is to add about 1 tsp of dough, no more. The dough doesn’t need to be a perfect oval or ball. I made my butter dough, shaped into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle and wrapped in plastic wrap, placing in the fridge for an hour. As it hardened, I just cut into small pieces(small rectangles) and no rolling at all. It came out sooo good!!! I didn’t use any oil on the mold, as the butter dough has Plenty. One tip for cooking: have a few paper towels ready as the butter might spill over the mold a little as the dough expands. Just wipe it off and keep going. Tip for cookies: spread a large clean kitchen towel whee you can allow cookies to cool off. That’s important. You can flip the cookies open side down and gently cut off any excess with a small knife. For the filling: Boil 2 cans of condensed milk unopened, paper wrapped removed for 2.5-3 hours completely submerged in water. Let cool off and then open the can. This will be your most amazing caramel/dulce de leche. My family and friends loved them for thanksgiving. BTW. I didn’t use the Included dough recipe, I just googled one that had the most and highest reviews

The mold is great. It has a teflon coated interior making for easy release.

Great mold, very easy to use and the cookies bake perfectly. The only downside is that the cookies are a bit bigger than I expected, so they don’t fit my silicone mold for chocolate.
