Easy to use and works great while camping

Far superior to the cheaper models
It is sturdy and light weight, and stores in a small space. Some people use screws to hold their receiver on this stand. I found that small zip ties work great and keep you from having to drill holes in it.

Suggestion for main complaint concerning setting your Tailgater on this tripod.
Planning to use 3/4" Velcro on the arms, and the bottom of the tailgater dish. Will let you know. Should hold just fine.

Fits the Dish Tailgator
The media could not be loaded. This was a perfect fit for Our Dish Tailgator! As an extra caution against the possibility of wind gusts Blowing the Dish Tailgator off this stand I drilled 2 holes and installed stainless screws and washers. The "North End" is held firmly in place without any hardware needed. The legs seem sturdy and the pegs through the holes secure it to the ground.
