Great option for label making
This is a nifty little label maker with a ton of uses. It's simple to operate - type what you want on the built-in monochrome screen and push "Print". It works with a variety of label stock available in different sizes, materials and colors, and it's battery powered so you can use it anywhere you like. It seems rugged enough to last a long time, and overall, I'd say it represents great value in a label maker for anyone needing to generate lots of labels without any fuss.

So far great!
I’m loving this thing, it’s waaaay better than my old rhino labeler. The description didn’t make it clear, but it can run off batteries so you don’t have to buy the rechargeable or be near an outlet. I mostly keep it plugged in when using, but it’s nice to be able to go mobile when necessary. The print quality is great too. Plenty good enough for labeling needs, it’s not a photo printer. It’s pretty efficient on tape usage too, with minimal waste on either end of the label. The automatic cutter is fancy too, I’m a fan. If anyone is having trouble peeling labels, I recommend an xacto knife. I never have any luck with my big sausage fingers and short nails.

Superb product, warranty, and support!
This is a very nicely made, rugged feeling product with a lifetime warranty if you register it within 30 days of purchase. If you want to get real nit-picky, the only thing you can fault them on is that no matter which operating system or browser you use, their online registration webpage’s “submit” button remains grayed out even if every blank is filled in. But, the upside of that is you’ll probably phone to register and find out how efficient and pleasant their customer service is! You get a live, helpful, pleasant person immediately. No wading through menus or waiting on hold for what seems like years. This is what customer service should be like!!! I really can’t think of a single reason why you shouldn’t buy this label maker UNLESS you need to make 36mm labels, and then you just buy the next model up. The print quality is superb. It comes with FREE software to extend its functionality, too.

This thing looks almost indestructible.
Ive had it for several months and it's very easy to use and does most operations flawlessly. The replacement cartridges are reasonably priced and seems like a large selection of them. This works for several of my labeling projects. I can't imagine any that it won't work for. I usually keep it plugged in with the included power cord and just use regular batteries I have been thinking of getting the lithium battery pack just in case. Even though it's fairly pricey and I haven't needed to charge it up. Handy for labeling my drones with my name, phone number and address in a very small 4 line label which is very legible so if it doesnt come home I could possibly get it back.

Labels need more sticky...
I have used this for a few things now. Noticing that some of the labels do not stick well to certain surfaces. Trying to label all my Milwaukee boxes and noticing some lifting. More of the label material problem than the label maker.

Good for general labels
Great labeler for the software and tech but had some shortfalls. No nylon labels for wire wrap. If they had nylon labels I would have kept this labeler. Also, the UI on the labelers won't print as small as the software on the laptop, that's disappointing. They should allow 6pt font on the UI just like the laptop. Had high hopes but returning.

Epson greed ruined owning a nice machine.
I borrowed this on the site when my jumped off 20ft scaffold amd broke, I liked it so much I quickly ordered one and a 6 pack of third party tape for 24 bucks, which I thought was much more than the my current knock offs, but it did a good job, has a lifetime warranty and was easy to get the hang of(minus being the size of a small elephant and weighing a metric ton) it had the magnets on back, so I stuck it to the panel and went to work. Today it arrived and will be sent straight back, the battery civer is loos, chenical and humidity resistant is a stretch, the magnets are not in ludwd. Your portable printer isnt so portable when the easy software to program it with requires a windows laptop or desktop for a hard wire connection, no bluetooth or wifi capabilities... alk that isnt great but expected from co.pa ies that really dont care. The real insult is the cartridges went l went shopping for shrink tube after I ordered the this thing, and nearly checked. No third party shrink available and five pack of Epson 8ft 3mm shrink is ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS, the larger tubing is a bit shorter and FIFTY FOUR DOLLARS A CARTRIDGE, I will go broke using this thing, if you want knock off shrink tube, tough luck it it doesnt exist. I use at least 10ft of 12mm shrink a day and that currently costs me about 6 to 8 dollars, with this it will cost me around 60. This thing will cost me an extra 1500 a year just in shrink tube alone, after comparing what i spend currently in lables(OEM and 3rd party) this unit cost me just shy of 14 times what I currently spend on lables and shrink annually. It gets a couple of stars for being made ok and working well and the warranty. They tricked me with being nearly half of what I was going to pay for a different brand, but this machine will costs me thousands of dollars a year. I will be going back to a blietooth and wifi enabled printer that works almost as well, the keypad i save a ton of money getting a machine that is twice the price. Stop being greedy Epson, it is disgusting and you have definitely lost my business.

Easy and efficient!
I'll confess I got this on sale on Black Friday but would not hesitate to buy at full price if I ever break this. I used to buy cheaper Dymo label makers and honestly this is night and day difference even just for regular labels. I also do a lot of wiring on vehicles and trailers, so the heat shrink labels is a big help, the option to do flags and cable wraps with the regular labels, and the different size options make it work all around for me. Best part is, it is easy and automatic to swap between labels. Only problem I had was I was a bit disappointed to find it doesn't come with the rechargeable battery, but even with the cord, it's better knowing it's always ready to go without dead batteries like my past ones.
