Q: I'm having trouble putting these on my guitar. Are there any tricks to getting them under the strings?

My method is I totally took of all strings and then where the area is to place the stickers I removed all oil( from the fingerboard) with rubbing alcohol. Then fine press( w/ fingernail) the sticker to word it into anchoring to the wood. The wood has some oil along with finger perspiration that can make for a sticker not to be able to ‘stick’.”

Q: I have a 2inch wide neck guitar. Does that fit?

I have smaller neck width and it fits perfectly. If you have trouble, put stickers on the side of neck.

Q: Do you have to remove the strings to apply the stickers?

Nope, you do not need to remove the strings to apply the stickers. What I did is cut each of them in small individual letters and put them below the string near the frets. That way, I can see the note clearly.
