Brilliant for beginners and stocking up on threads

Good for a beginner but I feel like I could have got more bang for my buck buying the stuff individualally as it's all quite cheap quality and 'plasticy'.The thread is on card bobbins that bend out of shape easily.The hoops are very cheap, and warped - some are unusuable.The upside is it comes with a lot of colours, but there isn't much length, and they don't last long at all - and I wouldn't want to reuse the case as it's cheap.Overall disappointing, I thought by spending more on a kit I'd get better quality that this. I should have bought a cheaper kit and spent the spare on extra stuff.

Arrived in good time however when box opened the item was damaged please see photographs. I cannot find a way to contact the seller as the plastic box was going to be extremely useful for my daughter with her textile GCSE she is starting in September to keep all her things in one place. Disappointed to see it damaged.

They always give you the dimensions of these sort of things, I usually pay attention to them. But the pictures are deceptive. One of the pictures shows all the silks, fabrics, needle-tidy, measuring tape scissors etc. I just assumed that the container held these all, excluding the hoops. It doesn't.Birthday of a disappointment!

I got this to try a bit of cross stitch. Good value for money and I had great fun messing about. I havent had too much time to sit down and learn the hobby but it's a great tidy case to keep everything safe until I do
