No, just the box. It uses standard banana test ends.

How would you set this to, say, 350 ohms? Or any value containing a digit greater than 4? Just don't?

The values are cumulative, to get 350 Ohms you would switch the 300, 40, and 10 OHM down. To get a greater the 4 value you would just switch the needed values on. This item has a range between 1 to 11,111,110 Ohms

Will this unit provide a stable signal on automotive circuits?

This is a typical decade box that will provide the resistance you need for testing purposes. I have used it to simulate different devices in the testing of DC control systems.
