I haven't needed these for any dogs yet but I wanted to try them out so I gave my kid a haircut. They are very sharp, they have a good weight to them so they feel sturdy and well made. The finger holes are big enough for me so they kept slipping on like rings but were difficult to slip back off...I will just need to get used to holding them properly. I enjoy the style and my kid felt "like royalty" because they look so flashy. I might need to buy a second set for my kids' haircuts lol

For dog grooming.

I have been using these scissors for trimming 2 poodles for a couple of years now. The scissors are still sharp and cut well. They are actually so sharp that I have cut myself severely a few times. The one thing I find difficult with these scissors is that the finger holes are quite small. If you have large hands or arthritic fingers like me, it's hard to stop the scissors from sliding off .
