Perfectly compatible with Apple wired headphones.
I’ve been looking for a solution to use my Apple headphones with my PC, and nothing seemed to work. I tried multiple headphone adapters, but none could fix the issue—until I got the MillSO USB to 3.5mm Audio Jack Adapter. It's absolutely perfect! It solved my problem, and now both my headphones and microphone work perfectly. At first, when I plugged in the Apple headphones, I didn’t push the jack in all the way, which caused the sound to cut in and out. So, I used a headphone extension cable to get sound, but then I realized it was just my mistake. Once I pushed the headphones fully into the adapter, the sound was crystal clear. I’m really impressed with MillSO’s product and will definitely keep an eye on their future offerings. I highly recommend it!

Functionality is good.
What’s to say it’s a cord. Seems durable, haven’t put it through its paces yet.

A Nice & Convenient USB To AUX Port Adapter Jack/Mini Portable Sound Card
This audio auxiliary jack/mini sound card adapter is an innovative way of giving you a way of plugging in any headset, headphone, or earbud connection to your desktop PC or laptop. All it requires is an available USB port, a usable 3.5mm headphone or earbud connection jack, and the audio content to listen to. It has quite good audio quality for its price/cost, and it does act like a plug n' play device (requiring no drivers or other accessories). Because it is USB bus-powered, there is no need for additional external power. There really is not anything more to say about the features, as it is sort of self-explanatory. Two quick pieces of information. It is ONLY for output devices with 3.5mm jacks, so while you can use headphone or earbud devices (audio output), you cannot use it for microphones or portable input audio devices - thus, while it may have a 3.5mm jack, if it is an input peripheral, it will not most likely work. Last of all, Apple headphones will not be compatible, as well as anything that does not have a 3.5mm jack or at least an adapter to convert to so. I do wish the cord was slightly longer (like maybe 1.5 to 1.75 ft instead of just a foot), but if you want longer there is a 3 foot option. For me, I was caught in a position where 1 foot was adequate, but I would have rather had an extra 6 inches leeway (3 feet would have been longer than I preferred). I don't use Apple products, so that limitation wasn't on my map, but some might, so be forewarned. I give this item a score of 4.7 out of 5, or 9.6 out of 10 stars. I say buy with confidence if you have the need or want.

Works but can’t handle pull force
Item did its job, allowed me to use my headset when the headset port wasn’t working, however I noticed the cord was very weak and in about a few months the wires were showing

Works Exactly Like I Needed
I purchased this to use when I want to listen to music on my computer using headphones. Prior to using this device I plugged the headphones into the port on my desktop speakers which works fine but is just not convenient. What I wanted and now have, is a way to switch from my desktop speakers to the headphones by using the sound setting on the task-bar so I don't need to plug and unplug the headphones. Why, cause I am lazy and want to be able to make the change while I have my feet up on the desk with my keyboard in my lap. I was not sure this device would do that based on the description, but I asked a question and someone confirmed it does work that way - thank you for that, which it does. It now shows up in the sound setting like a device which I was able to rename to "headphones" so I can easily switch my output device using the task bar sounds icon. As for the sound quality, it sounds about the same to me regardless if the headphones are plugged into the jack on the speakers, directly into the output jack on the motherboard or the new jack adapter. It's appears to be a well made device too. I purchased the longer cord so it's not braided like the shorter version, but it's a quality material that is soft and flexible. The extra length allowed me to wrap the cord around the base of one monitor stand to it's always available for easy access. Very pleased with this purchase and have no issue recommending it for anyone who plans to use it the same way I have described.

Fatal flaw with echoing outgoing audio to input on the one I received, very noisy mic preamp
***UPDATE*** 2021/03/20 A representative from Millso reached out to me to try to fix the issue. They issued me a replacement adapter and I have yet to find out if it is experiencing the same problem as the original. Kudos to them for trying to fix things. I'm adding a star for support and will update again when I have a chance to review the new unit. --Original review-- I wanted to find a TRRS headphone with mic adapter for use with Windows computers. I purchased this thinking that it would operate like you'd expect... Listen to Zoom/Skype/WebEx calls and talk back to everyone using a headset's built in in-line mic. While technically it does work, it has an annoying echo where the incoming caller audio that should be going only to your ears is brought back into the input channel and then sent out to everyone on the call. The result is that when someone other than me speaks, my system takes their audio and pushes it back over the call. It's kind of like being in a small canyon. The echo is probably 100-100ms in it's delay and it happens multiple times as the call audio that I generated then comes back and then goes out again. Very annoying. I did pull my headphones out of the equation and even without headphones plugged in at all, it echoes the incoming audio destined for headphones back into the "mic" input. Again, it does this even when the headphones are disconnected. I tried this in multiple software applications. I even loaded up an Ableton session (a DAW) and setup an overdub. Listening to sealed in-ear headphones with an inline mic. The Ableton recording from the mic was not clean and contained a clear audible copy of what I was hearing in my in-ears. It was about -20db down from full, but it was there clear as day. This wasn't sound from my earphone travelling back into the mic. It was full bandwidth audio recorded back into the session somehow from the adapter. It did this with the headphones disconnected entirely. If I set the audio to output into something other than this adapter, the problem went away, but that defeats the purpose of having a headset mic + headphone adapter. On top of all of this, the mic preamp is very noisy. I suppose it's a bunch to ask that a usb plug sized device could have a decent mic preamp. This thing is tiny. As a headphone adapter, it sounds fine, so 2 stars for that. I'm returning this as it won't work for what I need it for.

Not Good for Recording
The product is Ok if you want to just listen to the audio. If you want to record something from microphone, the audio input is very poor.
