I have been listening to water hammer for years with this front load washer with the solenoids. Even tried draining the house pipes to drain the built in devices installed in the wall. No help. Bought these and installed them behind the washer and they work perfect. Quiet as can be now. AAA+++.

These are exactly what you would expect from a reasonably priced set.
The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because I still experience a water hammer on my washing machine. They SIGNIFICANTLY cut it down, but for the price? It’s exactly what I expected. Still highly recommended!

Did not stop water hammer
Item arrived quickly and is very easy to install. But did not stop or reduce the noise of water hammer from washing machine. It is the same with or without it installed. I do not recommend. Waste of money, do not buy.

Lived in my house 35 years never had A Hammer pipe problem until I bought a new washing machine been through several of them but these and put on the washing machine inlets and it solved my problem highly recommend

No more banging!
This is amazing! I can do laundry at night again! Very easy to install and eliminates all of the loud pipe noises when using our washer!

This product is NOT suitable for, and is incompatable with, British UK plumbing systems.
The GHT (Garden Hose Thread) is an American format. The United Kingdon uses BSP thread.The distinction should be made absolutely clear in order to avoid disappointment for supplier and customer alike. "British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread is a standard thread type used extensively across the globe for plumbing connections (but not in North America). The standard defines the number of threads per inch (pitch) as well as the angle that each thread is engineered to." Supplier should hesitate and query application before supplying outside of North America.

Massive difference in noise
I was delighted to learn this solution existed. Im using an LG washtower and the water solenoids are loud and aggressive when open/close. Installing these just after the valve shut off was adequate for my comfort. These water hammers have nice seals inside them. The sound of rushing water has also reduced in noise on top of eliminating a subjective 97% of overall noise associated with my pipes in my home banging. Previously, I could hear the water from 5 floors up filling and banging. Now I don't know if my laundry is actually ongoing because the sounds from the basement at practically gone.
