the product comes with all of the components, including an appropriately sized magnetic screw-driver and all of the screws including the one to mount the finished product into your PC's M.2 socket.The kit comes with thermal mats (remember to remove the film before installing), well machined and precision tapped aluminum top heat-sink, bent thin precision machined metal bottom, and all of the necessary screws for assembly. It also comes with instructions (microscopic but tells you what to do if you can actually read it).You will not be disappointed with the finished product when added to your M.2 SSD.

This thing really works! I had low expectations but it does get the job done. It's well made too.Two things to keep in mind; don't forget to peel off the plastic from the silicone tabs before installing them (both sides); after assembled it obviously takes more space therefore consider if/how you will ever use any connector that's close to your SSD.

My PC's NVME Samsung 980 Pro 1Tb SSD drive was running uncomfortably warm, at times above 70 degrees Celsius. While that may be within factory specs it was a lot hotter than I like. After installing this heatsink with the two layers of thermal tape, my temps dropped significantly with idle temps at 50 degrees or less and heavy load under 60. The heatsink is in two pieces and constructed of metal for better heat transfer. And it looks good, too.

I used it for a Team Group SSD for my PS5, and it seems to work fine. Thickness was good, and the thermal pads seem adequate. No complaints.

Very low cost solution to keep m.2 nvme drive peaks cool. It's the demand write peaks that very short term spike that kill nvme drives. I bought 2 of these and stressed tested before and after vs the stock and without any. This heatsink is hands down 10-15F cooler peaks during massive writes. No brainer. They come with peel off adhesive thermal strips. Use them on both sides. Night and day difference. No need to remove nvme chip decals.

Installed this on my Samsung 980 to install in the PS5 and it was a breeze! Definitely a great investment to increase the life span of your SSD!

Nicely packaged with perfect fit small magnetic screwdriver included. My before/after test was based on launching Quickbooks and Quicken at about the same time and observing the maximum temperature reading. The heatsink is keeping the max below 100F and reduced the max by 30F compared to not having a heatsink installed. It also dropped the idle temp by 10F. This should extend the life of the Silicon Power 256GB NVME Gen3 x4 drive.

This heat sink dropped my thermal temperature down 5 to 7°C. It used to be at about a 112 to a 115. And that even with 7 to 9 computer fans going simultaneously. With the heat sink installed, it dropped it down about 7°. And it hasn't even budged even during gaming. So I'm quite satisfied with it, but I'll let you look at my numbers. Needed some more space on my PS5, as some of you will know the internal SSD on the PlayStation is just not enough when you have the likes of GTA V or Call of Duty installed.I’m not as tech savvy as I used to be and always held back on the idea of messing around with things like SSD and anything that resembles circuitry as I’m notorious for breaking things.However, I was fed up with having to constantly delete games so I went ahead and ordered the 1TB SSD on sale (£54.98) and it has been well worth the purchase!Firstly it only took like 5 minutes to install, that’s including attaching a heat sink (has to be bought separately and is suggested for use inside PS5), watching YouTube tutorials and fiddling around taking the PS5 apart, you literally slot it in like an old school memory card and secure it in place with one little screw, done.Seems more than fast enough, took 60 seconds to move 100gb of data over to it and loads up GTA at least twice as fast and the internal SSD would! Also the PS5 reads the usable storage as exactly 1TB so bang on. Time will tell if it lasts without slowing down but it’s been about a week so far and zero complaints.So if you’re like me and have been constantly deleting games to reinstalling them to manage the poor storage on your PS5, I would definitely recommend this!
