Mirror's Edge: Exordium

While I admit I've never read another western comic, this is a surprisingly great prequel for Catalyst. It re-introduced some old characters from the original game in a very impressive way, which was also great to see as a fan, while explaining the beginning of Catalyst in far greater (and more interesting) detail than we see in-game. And it's all surprisingly consistent, too.Makes me really want/hope for more in this series.

I wanted to buy anything to do with the new Mirror's Edge. Within my budget. This was a nice purchase. I can't really critique the art because it's my 1st graphic novel, but I did really enjoy it. It blended with the art of ME:C. The story was predictable, but seeing slivers of non Runner citizens' lives was a nice touch.

I'd recommend this comic book to people who are interested in the story of Mirror's Edge Catalyst. I won't spoil anything but I played the game without reading this comic and I was pretty confused with the story. The comic cleared up

Solid story, great artwork. I'm not a fan of recen Mirror's Edge reebot, but I enjoyed every bit of this comic.

A good little collectors item if you're into the series. As far as the subject matter goes it leaves a bit (or a lot depending on how forgiving you're feeling) to be desired. I honestly wish they would have stuck with one artist to do the whole thing because it ends up being fairly (wildly) inconsistent stylistically, and with an IP as beautiful as Mirror's Edge, I feel that extra effort should have been exercised. It is in fact the six previously released comics bundled into a nice, easily readable volume. Understandably it is nice to see them include such a pool of talent, but ultimately I feel that it falls short of achieving what it should have as a supplementary work. Aside from that though, S&H for the product for me was as per the usual amazon quality, nothing dented or scratched, arrived in supreme condition.

A very well written, nicely drawn comic, acting as a prelude to the events of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Pro tip: Read while simultaneously listening to the excellent OST of ME: Catalyst. It will increase the immersion.Only negative: Some very few underwhelming drawings of protagonist Faith appear around the 3/4 mark of the story but it’s not too bad.
