My grandaughter read book 1 as her school homework book, she's aged 8. When I went to stay for few days, I brought her book 2, she read to me every night, she loves them, it's lovely to hear her so enthusiastic and laughing while reading. She is now up to book 8, she still loves them and is still enthusiastic about them. I txt her and ask what Daves been up to, she loves telling me about his adventures. She even facetimes me some evenings to read to me. Precious.

My 6 year old daughter loves this series, the stories are quite simple, but we both love daddy daughter time reading them together.
