A spectacular achievement
In the past, Christianity spread by force of arms. Today, it grows because its members persuade others to join by using various claims by which they are indoctrinated. These claims are fallacious and will not lead an honest and rational person to accept Christianity. The question then is: Why do so many people accept them? The obvious answer is that in today's society, most people (including Jews) are ignorant of religion, especially the Bible, and are therefore gullible and susceptible to manipulative arguments engineered to be persuasive. In other words, they just don't know any better. They also don't hear the other side, particularly the reasons knowledgeable Jews have never voluntarily accepted Christianity for the past two thousand years. Here's where Rabbi Singer's book comes in. As his orientation is primarily from a Jewish perspective, he addresses the false claims designed for prospective Jewish converts and conclusively demonstrates their falsehood. He applies his prodigious knowledge of the Jewish Bible to show how Christian beliefs are not only inconsistent with the biblical message but stand in stark contradiction to its most important teachings. He does this by showing (a) how Christian quotations are invariably mistranslated or taken out of context, and (b) how other verses in the Jewish bible reinforce the Jewish rejection of Christian claims. In addition to the Bible, Rabbi Singer brings in a wealth of information from history to religion to philosophy to refute the remainder of these false claims. He is particularly strong in showing how knowledge of Judaism precludes any possible mistake in thinking that our Bible has any role in predicting, supporting, or encouraging belief in Christianity. The format of the book is clear, with large fonts for effortless reading. There are multiple charts, graphs, side bars, and other illustrations. These are organized to draw the eye to the main points quickly, so the logic of his arguments can be seen visually as well as intellectually for easy reten-tion and comprehension. Here are some of the issues comprehensively addressed in Volume I:1. Who are these Christian missionaries? Why and how do they persist on preying on vulnerable Jews?2. How do we know the virgin birth myth of Christianity is not a Jewish concept?3. How does Judaism teach that we can atone for our sins without a blood sacrifice, so we don't need Jesus?4. How can we show the Christian missionary that his favorite passage, Isaiah 53, is really about the Jewish people and not Jesus?5. How do we know that the Christian idea of the trinity could not possibly be acceptable to a Jew?6. Why is Christianity wrong about claiming our Torah is obsolete?7. What and who is the real Messiah?8. What is wrong with the Christian claim that Daniel 9 predicts Jesus?9. Why are the Jewish people the real witnesses of God?10. Why are Jewish oral traditions just as valid and important as the written Bible?Volume II is a collection of questions and answers. They range the full gamut of topics generally raised by Christians trying to spread their beliefs to others. For decades Rabbi Singer has been the world's leading authority on the subject of countering missionary claims for Jesus. This book is the fruit of decades of research, counseling, debating, and enlightening and enabling countless Christians to find a greater spiritual lifestyle more in keeping with true biblical principles. Anyone serious about knowing how to answer Christian missionaries or even to know why the Jewish perspective is superior should get and study this book. It has the best answers, the best arguments, and the best guidance of anything ever published.

This book took me out of Christianity and I became a Noahide
When you read the truth from the Hebrew scriptures, there’s no denying that there was only one God with no other gods before him no gods with him and no gods will come after him see Isaiah 43:10

Superb: nuanced, historical and factual
Perhaps the finest defense and case for Judaism I have read in the modern era. Combining the breadth of Rabbis Sacks and Lamm with the profundity of Rabbis Riskin, Soloveitchik and Berkowitz, every Jewish parent you should read the book, absorb it, and provide a copy to their child. Explains how Christians by misappropriation, mistranslation and omission of crucial portions of Tanakh kill the Torah. The history of Christian theology confirms the intellectual dishonesty of a “Son of G-d” or a new covenant after Sinai. G-d is one, indivisible, incorporeal forever. The Messiah will be a person not G-d, not begotten and not begot. Only by following the written and oral Torah/Talmud and His commandments can we ensure not just our Jewish continuity. We are duty bound to advance our ethical monotheistic mission to bring the world to G-d and oneness through compassionate righteousness and moral/ethical judgment by our eternal covenant.
